How often do you use proxy a connection to access web sites that have been blocked or to download a full version of a software that is available only with a particular region or country? You may be switching between your proxy connection on a frequent basis and this may be a little bit of a tedious process if you go for switching your connection proxy using the default Options window of your browser. So, in order to make the process easy, install the QuickProxy add-on on your Firefox browser that allows you to switch between your normal connection and proxy connection with a single mouse click.
Once you install the add-on, it creates a button on your status bar which you can make use of to turn your Proxy On or Off. See the snapshot below for details.
A green colored rectangular button indicates that the proxy is enabled and a red colored rectangular button indicates that the proxy is disabled.
A hit on the button switches between your various proxy connections which you have configured through the Options window of your browser. The extension does not provide any proxy server support as such for the purpose of managing your proxy connections and there aren’t any major features included in its design, though it doesn’t need any of them because, the extension’s main task is to simply switch between your normal and proxy connection in your browser.
The add-on simply does its job superbly without any hassles. It is easy to install and use and we recommend this add-on for all Firefox users who frequently use proxy connection to surf the web.
