Suzuki Skydrive 125 Review

Suzuki Motor Corporation, Japanese multinational motor manufacturing company is all set to launch a gearless vehicle Suzuki Skydrive in Indian motorcycle market. After a huge success of Suzuki Access, company is offering another similar vehicle to Indian motorcycle lovers. This vehicle is designed aerodynamically to improve overall performance and appearance. This scooter will be available in Indian markets before the month of June 2011 and estimated price of this vehicle will be around Rs.45, 000(Ex-Showroom Price). This model may face some stiff competition from other gearless vehicles like Honda Dio, Honda Activa, Suzuki Access and TVS Jive.

Engine and Performance:

All new Suzuki Skydrive is expected to be powered with 124 cc engine with 4 strokes, Electronic fuel injection system and air cooled system. Powertrain of this vehicle is expected to generate 6.9 KW of power at 7500 RPM and 9.6 N/m of torque at 6500 RPM. Engine of this vehicle is mated with Super CVT clutch technology, MIKUNI BS 26 DCP-FI and includes both self and kick start technology. With these entire power features Suzuki Skydrive is expected to offer zipper acceleration and amazing mileage. Fuel tank of this motorcycle is capable of holding 4 Liters of fuel. This motorcycle is capable of reaching top speed of 80 KMPH and can accelerate from zero to 60 KMPH within 10 seconds and offers 40 KMPL of fuel economy.

Front portion of this scooter is very attractive and includes V shaped headlight which offers clear vision during dark conditions, elegantly designed turn indicators which are beautifully placed. Driver enjoys a lot after seeing stylish instrument panel which consists of signal indicator, speedometer, fuel indicator etc. rear end of this vehicle is very impressive. Side panel caries company logo which further garnishes the overall looks of the scooter. Both driver and pillion can equally enjoy the ride and seat of this scooter is very comfortable and presents painless ride even during long journeys. In India this scooter will be available in black, white and red shades.

Brakes, Suspensions and Wheels:

Upcoming gearless vehicle from Suzuki will be installed with some standard and advanced accessories. Skydrive will be installed with drum brakes at rear end and hydraulic disc brake at front. Braking system ensures fast deceleration during critical situations.

Skydrive will be installed with sound suspension system which offers jerk free ride even on bumpy roads. This scooter will be installed with telescopic oil damped coil spring type suspension at front and at rear end with swing arm type, oil damped coil spring. Suspension system of this vehicle is very stable.

Suzuki Skydrive will be offered with 14 inch alloy wheels with five spokes, wheels of this scooter will be incorporated with wider and broader tires which ensure slipper free driving experience.

      You can buy complete set and parts at royce or any suzuki part dealer. i bought everything even emblem, the price is reasonable and original.
