Atrix 4G has the dual core processor which laptops and desktop computer would have; with this kind of processor you can make out how the performance would be. Atrix 4G has a 4-inch screen and the resolution of 960×540 pixels. If you are expecting gingerbird or honey comb, then it would be little disappointing because this phone is loaded with Android froyo 2.2 and AT&T connection.
Design
The body is mainly made up of plastic, but doesn’t have the cheap look of plastic. The dimension of this smart phone is 2.5 inches wide, 4.63 inches long and 0.43 inches thick. This phone is nearly has a same thickness as iPhone 4, but has more power compared to iPhone. Atrix 4G weighs only 135 grams…!!! Which is feather light…
The uniqueness in this phone is the fingerprint scanner. But this seems to be bit frustrating sometimes because when we need an access to the phone quickly, it asks us to re-swipe our finger. If you really want to increase the security of the phone, use passcode to lock it.
Features and specifications
Atrix is the smart phone which has powerful hardware in it. Powered by roaring dual core processor with the blazing 1Ghz of processing speed, with 1 GB of DDR2 RAM , storage capacity of 16Gb on board and addition to it an external microSD card slot which can hold 32GB of memory card. What’s more? The device has a capacitive touch screen which Motorola has given the name as qHD display, which is covered by Corning’s Gorilla Glass. The display is high resolution and more crystal clear, but at bright daylight it’s difficult to see the screen. Well the brightness adjustment dint work well here.
Camera
Atrix 4G has a 5 MP camera at the rear side and a VGA camera at the front side. The camera has various customized settings and gives impressive shots in both high and low lights. This also records a 720p HD video.
Audio
The sound quality in the headphone was good, as we know that Motorola doesn’t disappoint in sound issues. The sound from the speaker was crisp and clear.
Connectivity
For better connectivity option this phone is included with WiFi 802.11b/g/n, and Bluetooth 2.1+EDR and HSPA wit GSM Numbe obviously for AT&t 4G connectivity.
Atrix 4G also has a Proximity sensor and also has a built in compass and accelerometer.
Battery
This has an imposing 1930mAh battery and although the phone has powerful processor and huge android data, the device can still last for 24 hours only if u manage to avoid calls and keep the brightness average.
The cost of Motorola Atrix 4G is $199 and this is a good smartphone to buy for those who don’t want any lag in running application.
