The Adobe flash feature that was said to make Xoom superior to apple’s ipad is not going to arrive before spring of 2011. This news was confirmed by an ad featured in the website of Verizon wireless. The advertisement features a forthcoming tablet’s 1 GHz processor that supports Flash to enjoy web content which is video rich. It is said that Flash is still not ready for honeycomb mobile operating system which is built for tablet styled devices such as Xoom. Apple has prevented its IOS powered products such as iphone and ipad from inclusion of Adobe flash on them. It is said that the company has experienced poor performance of browser plug-in. Steve jobs had quoted that Flash is created and suits only to the PC era and not for the low powered devises like mobile phones. It is best suited for the mice and keyboard included PCs and not meant for the touch screen devices. Adobe has been delaying the inclusion of Flash on smart phones due to performance issues. Apple does not seem to be eager in introducing Flash to their products. Performance may be an issue here also. Its not Motorola alone which is running flash on its tablets. Toshiba has also launched a product site for their new tablet which supports flash.
