AT&T’s first step towards 4G is HTC Inspire 4G. As this is a debut, HTC has created this smart phone with high grade materials and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon Processor and Android 2.2.1 OS.
Design
HTC Inspire has a nice design and external look. But one small concern in the design is that the camera lens is extended a bit which attracts scratches. The microphone, the earpiece, the power button and the volume rocker is placed at the correct place so that we can reach easily. The 3.5 mm headphone jack is at the bottom of the phone.
The height of inspire 4G is 4.84-inch, 2.68-inch width, and the thickness is 0.46 inch and weighs 164 grams. The phone is comparatively bigger then other smartphones. As far as the hardware is concerned it has a single piece of aluminum shell which is sleeky and gives it solid feel and look. But because of this kinda unibody shell it’s difficult to open the battery door. The phone had a 4.3-inch capacitive display and had a resolution of 480×800 pixels which is quite responsive.
Specifications
Coming to the specifications HTC Inspire 4G is no droop. This Phone can also act as game machine. Inspire 4G is powered by second generation Snapdragon processor and those who are interested in pocket gaming can buy this. But keeping in the mind about future of gaming this wouldn’t be a nice option, Atrix would be a better option.

Camera
HTC Inspire 4G has improved a lot in camera compared to the HTC fare. This has an 8MP camera with a dual flash and can record video in 720p. The stills and video seem to be better. The camera has several filters in it and u can also touch focus on the area which u are interested in.
Some software which HTC has included in HTC Inspire
This has a seven home screen and has nice widgets. This also has a dedicated reader and many applications. There are 100’s of themes, sounds and widgets from HTC. HTC sense has a really good performance and improved user interface. In HTCsense.com u can create your user account and manage it. That also include sending message and call to other number. The hacking through this phone is easy if u are familiar with other HTC phones this is because the ambiguous relationship between HTC and Android.
The good thing about the phone is that it has a nice design in terms of materials used. The 8MP camera, projection length of controls and the 768MB of memory which improves the performance.
The thing which is lagging behind is, firstly this phone doesn’t have front camera which doesn’t let us do video conferencing the next thing is that no HSUPA which cuts down the data rate other unease thing is that the headphone jack which is located at the bottom of the Phone and the battery door is not user friendly because it takes lot of time and puzzles up to open battery.
Finally,
This phone is for those who Likes to install more application and games in their phone. The battery life is very less but, it costs $99.99 which would be a great deal.
