Master password is a used to hide all saved username and password from others. Some times it is necessary to reset password due to several conditions. In this article we shall learn how to reset master password in SeaMonkey.
Step 1:
Open your SeaMonkey Browser.
Step 2:
Now click on Edit tab in Menu bar. On clicking this tab, a drop down menu appears on your screen. In this drop down menu click on Preference tab.
Step 3:
In this Preference window click on Privacy & Security category and in this category click on Master Passwords tab.
Step 4:
In this Master Passwords tab, we can notice a field labeled as Reset Master Password. In this field we can observe a button labeled as Reset Password. Click on this button.
Step 5:
On clicking this button, a new window will appear on your screen. In this window click on Reset button.
On clicking this button, another window will appear on your screen; this screen confirms resetting of master password. Click on OK button to validate and save your settings.
