Sulforaphane is a highly powerful antioxidant. It will increase the production of the detoxifying enzymes that are naturally produced in body. According to phytochemicals information, eating foods that contain sulforaphane will reduce the risk of prostate cancer and breast cancer. Epidemiological research proves that the people who consume the sulforaphane in large amounts have a less risk of developing cancer. Broccoli
Broccoli is rich in sulforaphane. In fact the sulforaphane is richest in broccoli only. According to the National Institute of Health, the amount of sulforaphane in broccoli is estimated to be 1153 mg in every 100 gm of broccoli.

This is another vegetable that is rich in sulforaphane. The brussel sprouts this also contain large amounts of sulforaphane.
Kale

Other Cruciferous vegetables
Watercress, cauliflower, collard greens, and cabbage are the other examples of cruciferous vegetables. As per the Fred Hutchison Cancer Research Center, if a person is having at least 3 servings of these cruciferous vegetables, then that will have lesser chance to get cancer. It is estimated that the consumer of cruciferous vegetables has 41% less chance of developing cancer when compared to the others.
