Are you puzzled as to how do you start with setting up an iPod shuffle? Let me offer you some tips in doing this successfully. Below, there are seven major steps which you need to follow for getting your task done.
Steps:
1. Before connecting your iPod shuffle onto your PC or Mac, you have to install the latest software of iTunes.
2. You need to charge the battery by plugging your iPod to a USB port, situated directly on your PC which offers high voltage so that you are ensured that your system will charge your device’s battery or plug to a power adapter of your Apple iPod. In case, your system fails to recognize your iPod, then you will have to wait for half an hour for permitting the battery of your device to charge little before commencing ahead.
3. Once your set up is over, iTunes will automatically open. Then, it will either
a) Start filling all the music from the library of iTunes onto your iPod. (Only if you have set the software, ‘iTunes’ to update your device automatically)
OR
b) Permits you to select which audiobooks, podcasts and music you wish to add, in case you have chosen to manage music manually on your device.
For adding content manually, you have to just drag the file from your playlist or library of iTunes to the icon, ‘iPod’ in the source list of’ iTunes.’ If you are a starter for using iTunes, then you have to add some songs to the iTunes library first like installed songs from your hard drive or your own CD.
NOTE: Synchronizing music to your iPod is only one-way. You may not be able to copy music from your iPod to your PC unless your device can act as a hard disk drive. Only then, you may copy the music files from your iPod to your system.
4. Once you have installed all the audiobooks, music files and other relevant files onto your iPod, get ready to enjoy the music immensely.
a) If you notice the message, ‘OK to Disconnect’, on your device, then disconnect it from your PC simply.
b) If you notice the message, ‘Do Not Disconnect’, then hit the icon, ‘Eject’ which is visible beside the ‘iPod’ icon in your source list of iTunes and only then, you may disconnect your device from your system when you notice the message, ‘OK to Disconnect.’
5. Now that you are done, get ready to start playing songs on your iPod and enjoy them to the fullest.
