In this following tutorial you’ll learn how to create retro background using Photoshop and you’ll learn how to make 3d text effect, here we’ll be using some Cracked Wall Brushes, Shape and more

Step 1
Let’s start up by create a new document size of Width 1250px Height 800px resolution 300dpi, background with White color then create a new layer grab the Rectangular Tool with Fill Pixel Mode and Black Color make shape as shown.
Now by selecting shape layer go to Edit => Transform => Perspective and use the points to create perspective shape and place it as shown.
Step 2
Now make a few copy of the layer and place them as demonstrated below, once you done with it select all the Layers and Group it then reduce the opacity to 95%. Your get something like this
Step 3
Here create a new layer on top of Background Layer grab the Brush Tool with some Cracked Wall texture and just paint on the canvas. This is what I came up with
Step 4
Grab the Horizontal Type Tool and type your text on the canvas (I used font as ‘Eras Bold ITC’ and White Color) once you done with text go to Layer => Layer Style => Stroke and set the following settings of it.
*Stroke (434343)
Now to make text look as 3D effect right click on the Stroke as shown in below image and choose Create layer so now your stroke as converted to a new layer.
Make a few copy of the stroke layer (make it around 2 or 3 copies) and move towards left side around 3pixels (Make sure that after single copy you’re moving not at once)
Step 5
Gain we’ll add stroke to it, select the happy text layer and go to Layer => Layer Style => Stroke and set the following settings as shown below
*Stroke (ff7200)
In the same I’ve created some text and add same effect, this is how it looks.
