Photoshop Ice Background Tutorial

Step 1

Make a new document size of Photoshop default size and go to Filter => Render => Clouds (be sure you’re Background and Foreground as set to default color) Again go to Filter => Render => Difference Clouds, keep doing it until you get the clouds you want.

Step 2

After your done Go to Edit => Transform => Rotate 90digree CW, then go to Filter => Stylize => Wind and set it to wind from right side then rotate it back.

Step 3

Here go to Filter => Sharpen => Sharpen and do it twice, Press Ctrl + F for same result.

Step 4

If you need you can also go to Filter => Brush Stroke => Accented Edges, do trail and error, it kinda gives you a nice effect.

Now for some color go to Image => Adjustment => Hue/Saturation then select Colorize, set the Hue to 200 and Saturation to 45.

Now you’re image should look something like this.
