Facebook has recently released the social inbox. This service will collect messages from the social networking site along with the emails. Users of Facebook can opt for this service along with an id which is similar to username@facebook.com. The service is available for free. This is a dauntless move taken by the Facebook to launch the email service provided the fact that the other email providers like the Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, etc. have a wide range of users who would not prefer to switch to Facebook. The main inspiration behind this is the 500 million users of Facebook. These efforts taken by Facebook are a vain anyhow. Almost 68 percent of the users were not ready to accept to change their username as prescribed and to use this new email service on a daily basis. Among the rest, 18 percent has accepted to adapt to this change and 14 percent were in a dilemma. The users disagreed to use this service because they were quite satisfied with their current email provider. Some were also concerned about the issues related to security. The only advantage in subscribing to this service is that it requires a single login to access both the social networking as well as email.
