Cydia Mac App Store is about to launch for Apple Mac’s

The Cydia allows the users to download a variety of applications that are not present in the App Store that is official to Apple. This would have been familiar for those users who have jailbroken the iOS their iPhone, iPod or iPod Touch. The creator of Cydia, Jay Freeman (Saurik) has announced that he is about to launch an iteration of Cydia especially for the Mac in order to compete with the new Mac App Store of Apple. This announcement was made by Jay Freeman at the 360 MacDev conference held on 10th December 2010. This Cydia App Store for Mac will be launched in some weeks. This is expected to become popular as more than 10 million consumers have this iPhone version and there are about 30 K applications in the Cydia for the iPhone.
