    No.. there is no wi-fi. But look at other plus points which you get within 10K. This is a good phone with good features..

    Although it is a good phone but i found couple of bad things in it. You cannot read SMS during a call. Moreover if you want to browse through your mobile during a call, you cannot do so.

    planning to buy this. its already a big hit in indian market because of its expensive looks and affordable price.
    Missing thing is actually auto-focus in camer (not wifi) because wi-fi is still rare in india, forget of using it on phone. but auto-focus is definitely needed for camera that has 3.2MP. But overall, the best phone under 10k

    This mobile Phone S-5233 like other mobile phones in the market has draw backs. SO these comments are for the manufacturer to look into the issues.
    The battery is not upto mark and if you constantly try to listen various musical applications, the battery will be dead soon, less than 45 minutes. So when i asked a customer service person about the problem, he said dont use the application, so if these applications are not worth to use when why they are in the mobile, and if they are for entertainment than…samsung has to work on its battary.
    The charger is also a kinda not upto satisfaction and you need to replace it after one month.
    The application like auto reject and answering machine dosent work after some time and it will only leave you with visiting samsung offices, with pathatic customer service representatives who will suggest you not to use the mobile phone, with its features…………..then its a samrt phone

    how is music player? can i play music from any folder ? or it should be in MUSIC folder? can i play a song from any sub folder of MUSIC foldeR? i am asking as some of low end samsung mobile has these problems. also can i create any number of playlists and each playlist can have any number of songs? ( some low end mobile have limitation of maximum 4 playlists, each playlist can have max of 30 songs and it can play songs only from folder named MUSIC, not even a sub folder in music folder)

    In my Opinion, this phone doesn’t look that superior.

    Infact most phones out in the market seems quite dull. I have a HTC Tytn1. Which is now almost 2.5 Years old. Its got HSDPA, Full Touch Screen, Wifi, Bluetooth, Slide out Qwerty Keyboard, Camera is 2megapixel and takes good Photo’s.
    I expect the new phones to have at least 8megapixel Cams, Much faster CPU’s, More Features for less.. My 2cents

    S5233w Yes its a wondefull phone, Amazing luks with some great features.
    Well i got it of Rs 8500 and its truly worth spending this much for such phone, i find it really close to I-phone.

    I was in dilema whether to go for cookie or Samsung and now i back my decision to have this.
    Guys Go ahead and Use this wonderful phone.

    got in love with this phone when i first saw it in a shop at SM Manila. Actually, my concern at first was it doesnt have a wifi connection but when i checked the other shops i found a model version of S5233 with wifi. Surprisingly, the price was less than10K. I was tempted to use my credit card but i needed to add about 700 pesos. I decided to wait for my salary this week then ill buy it this coming weekend. Im excited : )
