RIM launches BlackBerry App Store in India

RIM has announced its launch of BlackBerry App Store to its Indian users. Users can download the Blackberry App World to their favourite BlackBerry smarphone by just visiting their official website through their smartphones.

BlackBerry App World contains a touch-screen with BlackBerry OS 4.2 or higher versions, trackball, and also includes touch-sensitive trackpad. In order to access BlackBerry App World, users need an active BlackBerry data service plan with an Internet access. Users are charged for data who has limited data plan. This BlackBerry App World is configured in such a way that it will automatically presents the related catalog of apps which are made available for specific users of BlackBerry smartphone. BlackBerry App World can be accessed by the users over Wi-Fi and also through networks.

Blackberry users in India are given a chance to discover and download a number of applications which contains variety of ‘made for India’ apps which they can download directly from their smartphones. India-specific applications include CNBC TV18 Moneycontrol, Humngama MyPlay, Mundu Radio and Arrowmatics.
