Review on how to block the sender from own inbox in Gmail
If you are receiving many number of bad emails from somebody who have got your address or by mistake if you have given your address to that person and don’t want to receive mails anymore from that person or sometimes chances are there that they might have got from somewhere or with the help of other methods. Now you can easily block these emails and the sender in Gmail with the below instructions followed strictly.
Login into your Gmail account.
Now open that email sent from that sender which you want to block.
At the top of that selected and opened email is the “More action” dropdown. Select “Filter messages like this.”
In the “Create a Filter Form”, the email address of the sender will appear in the ‘From’ textbook. ( All emails can be blocked from that sender’s domain with the use of @sendersdomain.com instead of the sender’s email address where in sendersdomain.com is the sender’s address domain.)
Click on to the “Next Step” toggle.
“Delete it” checkbox should be checked.
“Also apply filter to # conversations below” checkbox can be checked too if you wish to apply new filter to clean out the existing messages from this user. If not needed then leave it off unchecked.
At last click on the “Create Filter” switch.
Now, your inbox will be clear and free of these messages and again you don’t have to deal with any of these messages from that sender again.
