Food allergies are some times seems to be life-threatening. Most of the people don’t understand its seriousness and hence they won’t really care because they are not aware of the severe allergic reactions that could result in. It is better to protect your body from these types of food allergies and here are some ways as how to protect your health from such types.
Be aware of the products to which your body is allergic, just avoid such types of food stuffs, or else make a check up from your physician. He will tell you the specific food items which are allergic to your body only after knowing the results of the blood test. If your body is witnessing bad food allergic reactions then he or she may prescribe you an Epi-Pen.
This Epi-pen is prescribed only when there is a high risk of anaphylaxis. It should be taken only under the doctor guidance. You can ask your doctor about the Epi-Pen that does not contains needle or drug.
Oils like peanut oil are more prone to food allergic so avoid it as much as possible.
Make sure that you’re away from the food stuffs that contain allergens. Beware of the baked goods and give preference to home made goods.
Study tells that 20 % percent of the people think that they are suffering form food allergies but the fact is that only 2 percent of the people are suffering from that.
Most of the times school going children develop these type of allergies. Food allergy is mainly due to the bad response of our immune system to certain food types. As a result, our immunity system develops certain anti bodies in order to protect the body from the side effects of those foods. It some times causes wheezing, congestion in the nasal passage, pain in abdominal and also diarrhea. All these symptoms you can notice soon after you consume such type of food stuffs. At present there is no medicine available to such type of food allergies but it is important to know that prevention is better than cure.
The best way to avoid food allergy is by keeping you away from the allergy causing foods. It is also known that people who are more prone to food allergies can go for organic foods, fruit diet and also they must avoid animal proteins that causes allergies.
