Lower back pain is the one which makes millions of people to suffer on a daily basis. There are number of causes that are directly or indirectly lead to back pain over time. However, there are some ways through which you can protect your body from Lower back pain and few are listed below.
If you need to lift some heavy objects, make sure that you lift those heavy objects without bending over. This bending over while lifting the heavy objects results in putting tremendous amount of stress on the lower back. You can still lift an object by bending your knees by keeping your back straight and holding the object very close to the body. Make sure that you don’t twist your body while lifting those heavy objects.
Moving heavy objects and lifting them are the major causes that results in heavy back pain. Hence you need to be more careful while lifting them. Try avoiding lifting instead you can make a pull if you can. As a result you can relieve a lot of stress with your lower back.
One more cause for back pain is sitting for a long period of time. Sometimes, you may be helpless that your nature of job seeks sitting for a long duration and do the job. In such situations, you can take a few often breaks, stretch yourself in that time, do some relaxation meanwhile. This can do wonders relieving your stress on the back.
So many people are not aware of the fact that the practice of using shoes and sandals that has high heels can surely contribute to the back pain. Since the high heels rise you up putting pressure on your back causing pain. Flat shoes or lower heeled shoes are better to use.
If you face a situation like you need to stand for a long period of time, then you can opt for shoes with support inside it. Some of them are gel supports and arches those can be inserted into the shoes to give support while you stand or when you walk.
Exercising regularly keeps lower back pain away from you. The main factor which greatly contributes to the back pain is the inactive and lazy lifestyle.
Making your lifestyle active and by including healthy diet, anyone can keep all such types of disorders away from them. These are some ways through which you can minimize the back pain or prevent the pain permanently since back pain is not such a serious health problem to deal with it.

Great points to consider in this article. Improper lifting techniques are a big cause of back pain. Many people bend from the waist to pick up objects, leaving the low back susceptible to strains and possible disc problems.
The best technique when picking things up is to bend the knees as if you’re squatting or to bend on one knee, then using your legs to push the object and yourself up. This places the stress on your legs which are strong and less likely to get injured.

i would like say million thanks to you for sharing this article. i often suffer in back pain and it so useful for me. my brother too has this back pain for long time, may be for about 20 years.
I would tend to agree with all the above but there should definitely be more emphasis on diet and eating healthy foods especially. One of the worst contributors to back pain is unhealthy food. If you can stay away from fast food and sodas, you should see an amazing turnaround in your back pain. I’m someone who is huge on exercise for getting rid of lower back pain. Now that I am taking care of my son, getting to the gym is a real challenge. I completely cut out all sodas including diet sodas. Now, I just drink water, coffee and tea. No more sweet drinks either. This may take some getting used to at first but I highly recommend it. I would suggest eating fish at least once per week, maybe twice depending on your level of pain. I would also eat lots of fruits and veggies. I am totally convinced now that diet alone is the most important thing for eliminating and managing back pain. Good luck to all!
