Microsoft targets Internet Explorer 9

Even though Microsoft is talking about the preparation of its upcoming Internet Explorer this week, the company is not offering the preview code of its future browser.

Microsoft, the software maker is not intending to broadcast the further steps to the WebKit engine. Ray Ozzie, Chief Software Architect made a keynote at the Professional Developers Conference on Tuesday. He stated that the company Microsoft will definitely work in making the Internet Explorer the best Windows browser but it failed to give the further details.
Many expected Microsoft to speak on its future browser plans on Wednesday’s Keynote speech. It is expected to speak about the interested and focus areas for the future browser version.
Internet Explorer 8, the latest version was released by Microsoft in March and also it released Windows 7 recently. Despite of releasing all these, it is facing intense competition from Google, Firefox and Apple.
