HP Pavilion Slimline s5220y is a low end slim PC with an unexciting performance package. Even though it comes with a usual boring case some might get attract to use it as light-duty module and also as media streaming box but they will be later fed up of its irritating connectivity options and lackluster components.

HP has updated its s5120y to give s5220y. The desktop measures 12.2 inches high, 15.9 inches in depth and 4.4 inches in width. It is very nearest to Dell Inspiron 545-1476N in its size. But it is larger when compared to Gateway SX2800-01.
Key specs
It has an Intel Pentium Dual-Core E5300 processor with 4 GB of DDR2 SDRAM. It has a 256MB of shared in-built graphics card and 640 GB of hard disk with a speed of 7200 rpm. It also has an Ethernet LAN and comes with 64-bit of Windows 7 Premium operating system.
Dell Inspiron 545s-1476N and Pavilion Slimline s5220y are almost equal in many features like price, components, processor, memory, and graphics card.
The system is capable of handling easy browsing, and its media playback is amazing. Even though editing in s5220y is very light; Gateway SX2800-01 is faster when compared to it.
HP houses two USB ports, a headphone jack, single media card reader and a vertical dual layer CD burner in the front. 4 USB ports along with the Ethernet jack, 5.1 analog audio output and a 56k modem, a pair of PS/2 ports for the keyboard and mouse are present at the back.

The system itself comes with the built in software for troubleshooting purpose and also for training the system.
