How to Stay Healthy?

If you want to stay fit and healthy, the first thing that you have to do is you need to take up the healthy choices in your diet, lifestyle and the personal habits. Here are some tips telling as how to stay healthy and fit.

1)     Maintain a healthy weight, that keeps your blood pressure normal and eases the burden on your joints, it also keeps track of your hear beat automatically. It is known that people who keep their weight healthy they tend to stay healthier.

2)     Drink plenty of water, minimum of 8 to 10 glasses of water is more than enough to keep your body hydrated. Drinking lots of water flushes out the accumulated toxins in the body. It also keeps you fresh and active; it increases the rate of metabolism thus making you healthy.

3)     Exercise regularly, spend 30 to 40 minutes in a day in doing exercises so that your muscles become strong and your body becomes fit and strong enough to combat against deadly diseases.

4)     Replace the intake of fat, sweet foods and packaged foods with fresh vegetables and fruits; include high fiber based foods since they avoids constipation, bloating, gastric and such other problems. They make the bowel movement easy by bringing digestion to the normal level.

5)     Quit bad personal habits like smoking, consumption of alcohol, chewing tobacco etc. They have a very bad effect on your health, they increase the risk of cancer and heart related diseases etc.

6)     Follow a healthy life style, don’t be lazy, try to involve in one or the other physical activity that keeps you active, it may be either gardening, jogging, a walk with your pet etc. Idling yourself may lead to the fat accumulation in your body making you more prone to many diseases.

7)     Reward yourself for what you do, follow a healthy routine, be positive in what you do, practice a healthy diet, avoid junk and packaged foods as much as possible. Try to include lots of liquids through out the day which keeps your body hydrated.

8 ) Sleep at least 7 to 8 hours a day, which would be enough to relax you from the stress. Practice some meditation, yogas and aerobics in order to overcome the stress because stress is the main cause of many physical and mental disorders.
