Google Voice is one of the Internet based services that allows user to provide a single phone number to everyone by forwarding it to multiple phone numbers. It allows the user to maintain a single phone number even though there is a chance of switching over a job, vocational trip or change of address etc. People who try to reach the users may not find the difficulty in reaching; it is only because of Google Voice app.

Getting and Verifying the number

Google Voice allows user to select the number of their choice. Once the number is selected then its permanent and they cannot change the number again.

Google recommends user to verify the number once the number has been selected by the user. Google won’t allow users to forward the same number on many Google Voice accounts until unless one phone number is verified on the record. If the user wishes to forward his or her number to multiple phones, they must need a direct line or else Google is unable to forward the calls to the phones that demands extensions, pauses and special characters.
