Google to track TiVo viewing habits

untitled

Google is craving to know about how TiVo proprietors are connected to commercials.

Both Google and TiVo are familiar that every one fortuitously looks at some ads when changing during commercial breaks from the collected programs.

Google has planned to take in TiVo- Television viewing data to its Google TV Ads. Google TV Ads is the group’s effort to re-erect the AdWords and the AdSense replica on the minute screen and partner with Dish Network. The TiVo data help out advertising clients to find how and when the ads are seen by watchers.

Digital Video Recorder (DVR) like TiVo is not the most wanted tech product for TV advertising business but as it helps every watcher to look at shows at any time they want and can hop the commercials. However the majority DVR proprietors hold sights of ads as watcher zoom or else pass over the ending commercial phase and thump the 30 second wind back key and divulging the watchers to the previous ad publicized prior to the program recommences.

The above method cannot be considered as a complete ad impression, as the advertiser identify that the watchers did not look at full ad. However Google felt that it cannot disregard it totally and has planned to utilize unnamed second by second DVR viewing data to follow how watchers view ads located in Google TV Ads and also the Google can access watcher behavior from sources external of Dish Network with cable and satellite watchers. So the Google TV Ads may be more eye-catching to prospective advertisers, as Google can collect data from DVR proprietors.
