BSNL: The Pioneer
After a long wait finally Indian users can enjoy the 3G service. BSNL has pioneered in providing 3G services to Indian users. This will help the Indians to access internet at high speed of up to 2mbps which was otherwise restricted to a maximum of 144kbps through GPRS or EDGE technologies.In its first leg 11 cities in India will reap its benefits. They are Agra, Ambala, Jalandhar, Jaipur, Dehradun, Shimla, Lucknow, Ranchi, Durgapur, Haldia, Patna and Jammu.
3G Plans
A user can choose from a wide array of plans as per his/her convenience. The users can avail the benefit of low voice call at 10p/min under 1000 full value plan and SMS at 10p each under 1350 Super Plan. What is 3G?
3G stands for Third Generation technology which aims at providing a wide array of services like mobile broadband internet, video calls, emails etc. It comes under ITU (International Telecommunication Union) family of standards under IMT 2000.

bsnl 3g user ..i am also bsnl 3g user using as data card.. i found one issue of bsnl 3g using in my laptop..i need ur mail to conform this issue..the problem is that every 1 and half hour to 2 hr of connection .. that download speed get 000 and you will not able to open a single web page..and again we have to disconnect the net and connect it to get the speed ..did any one notice this,,if yes or no ..try it once and let me know my email id is robinopt.007@gmail.com. and pls give a complain about this to bsnl office i did..if u do complain then they will solve this issue. I tried different type of data card and my 3g mobile also to connect laptop and tried at different places its same problem

I’m at jaipur and have a sansung 3G enabled handset. Can I access internet on my laptop using my 3G enabled mobile phone using a 3G enabled sim of BSNL on Rs.274 unlimited plan and at what speed?

Sad is not the word for BSNL 3G. The state enterprise is cheating the public at large. I am initiating a criminal complaint against BSNL. They cheated me of my recharge of Rs.3100 on my 3G connection in less than an hour. They dont respond to calls in their 36524 numbers.
The General Manager of BSNL should only be sued for the advertisement of honesty that they publish in all leading newspapers. They are cheats in the garb of Government.
Hi, i hav bsnl 3g connection that i bought from agra but i m using it in gurgaon, the problem is its connectivity sucks….its speed is good but connection breaks in a span of every 5-10 mins and then it never connects back…i tried changing sim card to one of gurgaon but at BSNL offices near by i checked they say that 3g is not yet launched in ggn n they have no 3g sims and so skill set to support my problems … now wen i call up at thier customer care they tell me to visit the near by BSNL offices..can anybody who is using BSNL in gurgaon and has any idea in which branch can i contact to get by problem sorted out plz do let me know…thanks…

Hi gopiranga,
Contact the Network Operator Customer Care and ask them to send the settings. They will send it to your phone.
NOTE: Make sure that you select “Save” option when you get the settings.

i have nokia 5800 xpressmusic and i want to activate 3g on my phone i have sent message to 51503 as DEMAND 3G but ihad not got any conformation .
