Increasing the muscle is the primary objective of all body builders. Proficient training techniques are employed while engaging in resistance training. In order to obtain optimal results our focus need to be directed upon exercise as well as routines.inorder to get optimal results Compound Multi-joint exercises should be given more importance and preference over single joint isolation exercises.

Compound, multi-joint exercises involve exertion of more than one muscle group. Consider a Bench-Press exercise that involves shoulder, chest and triceps though it is mainly meant for chest. Whereas a biceps burl isolates the working of biceps. Also the training of legs should not be isolated.
Compound Basic movements play a significant role in building the lean muscle mass. With the body working harder to execute these movements more muscles are involved in the process releasing hormones stimulating the growth mechanism.
Classifying the routines into upper , lower body workouts, push or pull etc.Short intense workouts favor the bodybuilders when followed on a routine basis By which you have to conform to 45 minutes with appropriate rest between the sets kept to a bare minimum to achieve desired results.

Routine is being classified into three aspects on routine basis First routine gives importance to legs and the next focuses on chest shoulders and triceps (pushing) with the last demanding attention for back and biceps (pulling) At the end of the day you shouldn’t be working out three days in a row as it might have adverse effects such as injury. Hence it is advised to take a day off during training.
A record of various assorted exercises comprising of both compound and isolation is being provided for reference. A routine should consist of three compound movements per body part followed by isolation movements. I concede to a point goal setting is important to focus on getting optimal results. Patience and persistence can take you a long way.
