Apple’s Safari 4 released
Apple today launched Safari 4, its much awaited web browser.
Safari 4 is claimed to be faster and easier to use than its predecessors. It is claimed to be 4.5 time faster than its previous version, 8 times faster than Internet Explorer 8 and around 3 times faster than Mozilla Firefox 3. This speed is achieved through its built in Nitro Javascript engine which is claimed to run Javascript code faster than its counterparts.
It entails many new features as compared to its predecessor namely Top Sites which presents you a graphically enhaced view of the sites open, Cover Flow, Full History Search, Developer Tool, ARIA support, CSS effects, Acid 3 compliance, HTML 5 Offline support, stunning look and feel and so on.
