Appendicitis is due to the inappropriate functioning of the vermiform appendix, a worm-shaped protrusion of the colon. It occurs when the appendix gets infected by some bacteria as a result blockage occurs. In some cases, this result in obstruction of the blood vessels that irrigates the large intestine; if it is delayed, then it will speed up the process of deterioration of the appendix and causes death of that person.

Most of the doctors prescribe “Appendectomy” for the sufferers of Appenditis. It is a safest and easy procedure where the appendix part is extracted out of the body. If it is not removed from the body in time and is delayed then it will become enlarge by the continuous action of the bacteria finally leading to bursting of appendix, thus causing serious internal complications.

Thus it is very important to spot out the signs of appendicitis instantly. The common symptom is the severe abdominal pain. This pain initially occurs in the umbilical region then gets spread to right lower abdominal region. The intensity and the region of the pain differ from one individual to another. Doctors say that the intensity of the pain tends to increase with the increase in the physical movement of the body.
