Airtel TV’s post sales service is very poor. Do Trust them on giving the full assurance of providing good service. I am facing lots of problems from that. They do not solve any problem. Customer service people give on the assurance to solve the problem as soon as possible. But only assurance and doing nothing.

I don’t recommend Digital TV taking more than 6 months subscription as they only provide 6 months warranty on Set-up box. After 6 months, if your set-up box stop working then you have to pay Rs 800 for new box. The new box does not have any warranty to it. That means, both Rs800 + your annual subscription money can go in GUTTER.
    VERY BAD Experience i had.

I too had the similar experience as other airtel subscriber .My sister bought south value pack for 2000 rs she is staying in ground floor and the antenna was supposed to be set up at the second floor due to poor coverage from first floor but airtel charged 300 rs extra for placing antenna in second floor saying its cost towards the additional few feets of wire provided .So she had to spend 2300 instead of 2000 on the very first day -Is this a fair business ?
Exactly after 6 months and 1 week ,Tv signals were completely lost .she called the customer service for assistance and they said that she has to recharge for 300 rs then only they will take the complaint else they will just disregard. She had no other go other than to accept it because she already subscribed for 1 yr plan but to her surprise they said that this 300 rs recharge fee will not be added to the subscription account .Its just a fee(then why r they calling this as Recharge) to have one of their technician to look after the issue.I prefer they would have call this additional fee as a fee rather as recharge because whoever reads the supportive document thinks that they will get additional service towards the recharge amount but certainly it is not.We are completely dissatisfied with this service .Pure monkey business.

Airtel Digital TV service is so bad and so worst.I never see this kind of customer service in my life.I trasfer the connection from Bangalore to Andhra. So I pay 600 for transfer and they remove the antenna from my home as promised and in a week time they are suppose to install the same in andhra. But the problem is they didnt made atleast a call regarding that.I try to contact the customer care at morning 6′o clock morning. When you call the customer care it will give you nice description about there promotional activity later it will ask you for language option, just like 1 for english,2 for hindi bla..bla..bla

Then the story will start i select english and asking to enter customer ID which is 10 digits and after entering that the problem will start..No response(complete silence for hours) or the airten voice interact message will come continuously just like” We are happy to help you please be online” even if you stay 1 hour also nobody will address you. This happened practically to me so many times.I really fedup with airtel service and i requesting everybody to do not take Airtel digital TV connections please.

I have taken AIRTEL digital TV connection recently. My expectation is more tamil, hindi and english
chennels but unfortunately the telecast in the regional languages of marathi, oriya gujarathy and bangala are not attractive and not familiar with the languages. The telecast of the above languages are not useful to users . Hence the present packages may be reconsidered and add new more area channels
for the benefit of viewers. This will certainly attract more subscribers otherwise you will not have
attractive numbers of subscribers.Hoping that you will take suitable action .

    Thanking you

I just had the worst ever experience with Airtel DTH. The remote stopped working completely and inspite of registering a complaint with Airtel, there is no response absolutely for more than four days.

I am Vijay and my customer ID is 3000948443.I have purchased A digital tv in May For Rs 1750 and its validity was 3 months. And i Recharge it By net banking For 1400 rupees on 7sep.. And talk to cutomer care to recharege for 1 year validity (Same plan as was Super value pack).

    * So there should be +135 rupees in my account (Rs1400 pay+Rs105 promotional offer-Rs1370 for one year validity).
        # On 1 oct my services was stopped saying your account is negative as they cut Rs 350 for plan upgradation. But nither i request to you for plan upgradation nor i got any conformation for such type of deduction. My plan is same as from beginning (super value Plan).
      # I have talked more than 20 times to Customer care they always says that this amount was deducted due to some mistake by Computer ( as it takes as auto upgradation plan because i recharge it before completion of three months) or their colleauge mistake. And they send waver for correction (complaint no-1136805 dated-29sep,1171636 dated-05 oct,1181466 dated 7oct,1223737 14oct).
They always ensure that our services will start next day or with in 24 hrs.But till now no action taken

    Hi Folks,

I have a Airtel Digital TV as well as Sun direct connection. Both are CRAP in terms of customer service. Infact I would say, almost all digital TV customer service in india are pathetic and lousy. They want to hook up customers and then, when the customer has taken their connection, they dump them because then they know you cannot dump them. It’s not monkey business, guys but pure crooked money business. This is going to be like this atleast in India so do not worry and find out ways to deal with such things. My suggestion- DO NOT TAKE VERY COSTLY SUBSCRIPTIONS, ATLEAST IF ANYTHING GOES WRONG YOU DO NOT LOOSE BIG MONEY. Get to their management nerves (Go to nearest center and get those contacts) as soon as you can because calling these call centers will do no good if you are loosing out on serious money and time…Thats it from me..Bye Take Care

HI frnds….this is a very simple way to speak to a cutomer executive of airtel digital TV while the unwanted blah-blah interactive service being skipped during a call to airtel digital tv customer care….

after responding to the promotional interactive voice menu please donot enter ur 10 digit customer id….
ull again get a request for an other two times for entering customer id…
u ignore even that…… after wards ull be hearing message that “ur maximum attempts are………….thanx for calling airtel customer care..” nd friends just be patient for a couple of seconds nd ull directly get connected to cutomer care executive thus making ur job easy, ommiting the messy interactive crap………………………………… for the people who believes in speaking to a customer care executive for assistance i think this tip serves a lot…….
