Gerard Butler who played the King Leonidas’role in 300 sported a lean warrior look. Circuit training coupled with calisthenics unlike heavy sets with resting periods raised the bar so as to stimulate muscles leading to glycogen breakdown.
Combination of these exercises and executing them continuously with a resting interval of 60 seconds is sufficient to reduce the heart rate to normal conditions. Repeat the entire circuit session again.
Single-Bar(Pull-ups): Perform the exercise with a wide overhand grip. Shoulders must be relaxed with the body hanging in a vertical position. The chest is pulled up towards the bar and lowered, while performing this motion over a range of slow pace arms being straight.
Dumbbell deadlifts: With an upright posture holding the dumbbells at the lateral side, the dumbbells are lowered down by lowering hips knee bending and the torso is perpendicular. Double check the dumbbells position to ensure minimum swinging due to momentum. This exercise works out legs and back.
Dips: With Hands at the shoulder level, chest lowered to floor level, palms facing the floor perform the exercise until failure occurs. Legs should be positioned straight with straightened arms as u lift yourself off the floor
All the above exercise must be performed along with JumpRope,Dumbbell clean and press and Burpees
