DDR3 DRAM demand spikes for new laptops, servers

Now many pc,laptop and notebook manufacturers uses DDR3 rams that is 2X Data rate three synchronous dynamic random access memory used for high bandwidth storage of pc,laptop,notebook and servers.

DDR3 ram is the improvement of one of its predecessors, DDR2 SDRAM.The DDR3 has the ability to transfer the 2X the data rate of DDR2.

DDR3 allows the chip capacity of 512 megabits to 8 gigabits effectively enabling the maximum memory module size of 16gigabytes.

DDR3 provides 30% reduction in the power because of 1.5V supply instead of 1.8V for DDR2.

The speed comes from the 8 bit wide DDR3’s prefetch buffering comparison with the 4bit wide DDR2.
